Verna Collier, CMP has extensive work experience in the events and meetings industry. Verna started their career at Atlantis Creative Group as an Account Executive from 1997 to 2002. Verna then worked at CTC Communications Corporation as a Manager of Operations from 2003 to 2009. After that, they joined BGB Toronto as a Program Manager in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Product Buyer and Program Manager at Wynford. In 2012, they had brief roles as a Program Manager at Dragonfly Meeting Solutions Inc. and as a Manager of Event Operations at Pareto. Later in 2012, they became the Managing Director at Kennedy Event Management. Verna then worked at Johnson & Johnson as a Meeting Manager from April 2013 to December 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they were an Operations Manager at CWT Meetings & Events. Since 2016, they have been with BCD Meetings & Events, initially as a Senior Manager of Account Management & Operations and currently as the Global Director of Operations & Optimization.

Verna Collier, CMP completed a B. Com degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Ryerson University in the years 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they pursued studies in Psychology at Brock University and Human Relations at Niagara College. Verna also studied Early Childhood Education at Niagara College.
