Gijs Velema has extensive experience in customer service and hospitality management, currently serving as the Team Manager for the Klant Contact Center at Ziekenhuis Amstelland since September 2021. Prior roles include various management positions at Conservatorium hotel from October 2012 to September 2021, including Front Of House Manager and Front Office Manager. Gijs also held the Assistant Front Office Manager position at Raffles Dubai, and served in multiple roles at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, including Guest Services Manager and Reception Manager. Early career experience includes working as a Front Desk Supervisor at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel, and as an FD Agent. Gijs Velema obtained an education from Christelijke Hogeschool Nederland, completing studies between 2000 and 2004.
