Michelle Dvorkin

With over 30 years of HR and talent management experience, Michelle Dvorkin joined Ziff Davis in April 2019 as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, where she leads and oversees the Human Resources and Operations departments. Previously, Dvorkin was the EVP, HR at XO Group where she developed a global HR strategy, launched the international HR team, led acquisitions, improved benefits and compensation, and designed the talent management system.

Michelle’s career began with a 10-year tenure at advertising and marketing agency Primedia, Inc and has included work at AppNexus, SAP Global Marketing, AOL Advertising, and Ogilvy & Mather. In the startup landscape, Michelle served as HR Director at Quigo Technologies, Healthology, and Lot 18, where she built HR practices and operational infrastructures from scratch and laid the foundation for the companies’ growth and success.

Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Labor Relations with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Cornell University. In 2015, Michelle became a Certified Executive and Organizational Coach, completing Columbia University’s intensive Coaching Certification Program.
