Valerie Starling

Valerie Starling is a seasoned professional in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and human resources, currently serving as Senior Director of DEI & HR Programs at Ziff Davis since November 2021, after holding the position of Director of DEI & HR Programs. Prior to Ziff Davis, Valerie contributed as Senior Diversity Equity & Inclusion Manager at Vericast and engaged with RetailMeNot/Vericast in various roles, including Senior Product Operations Associate and Diversity Council Steering Committee Member. Valerie's career began at RetailMeNot, Inc., where leadership in the Mosaic Employee Resource Group emphasized intersectionality, alongside responsibilities as a Diversity Council Member and Senior Operations Associate. Earlier experiences include research assistance at the NCUA. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
