James West

James West is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as Chief Designer at Zifo since July 2024, James previously held the position of Lead Visual Designer at TetraScience from April 2023 to July 2024. Prior to that, James was the Head of Design at Dotmatics for nearly eight years and worked as Design Manager at both BIOVIA and Accelrys. Early career experiences include a role as Senior Web Administrator at Absolute Digital Systems and an academic position as a Lecturer at Cambridge Regional College, focusing on image editing, DTP, and animation software. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University for the Creative Arts and another Bachelor of Arts degree from the Kent Institute Of Art & Design. Educational background also includes studies at Cambridge Regional College and Long Road Sixth Form College.
