Alexander Connell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alexander started their career in 1998 as a Science Officer and Intranet Developer at the Defence Evaluation & Research Agency. Alexander then worked as a Technical Director at Intravisual Limited, where they were involved in project management, technical design, and implementation of web and Windows-based systems.

In 2012, Alexander worked as a Consultant for Lenovo, focusing on business transformation, architecture, and system integration. Alexander also served as a Consultant at Dare - Aviva, where they worked on a project to digitize and transform the Aviva Broker website experience and systems.

From 2014 to 2015, they worked at NHS Professionals as a Consultant, managing projects and conducting systems and business analysis for the implementation of a new corporate website.

In 2015, Alexander worked as a Consultant - Project Manager/Business Analyst at Snell Advanced Media, where they assisted in creating the SAM Channel Partner Portal using Relayware.

In 2016, they joined Englex Limited as the Founder of an independent IT consulting firm, where they provided consultancy, analysis, design, and web-based development technologies.

In 2017, Alexander became the Director of Professional Services Americas at Relayware, where they provided leadership, guidance, and business development for the consulting and project implementation team.

In 2018, they transitioned to Zift Solutions and held multiple roles including Director of Business Analysis, Director of Solution Architecture, Senior Director of Professional Services, and currently Vice President of Professional Services. Their responsibilities in these roles included onboarding customers, providing high-value service offerings, maintaining profitability of services, and ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

Alexander Connell began their education at Tomlinscote School, where they completed their GCSEs in English Language, English Literature, Maths, Science (Double), History, Geography, PE, and Spanish from 1992 to 1996. Alexander then attended Farnborough 6th form College from 1996 to 1998, where they studied A-Levels in Computing, Media Studies, Sports Science, and General Studies. After that, they attended Farnborough College of Technology from 1998 to 1999 and earned an A-Level in Maths. From 1999 to 2003, Alexander pursued a degree in Software Engineering at Farnborough College of Technology, where they obtained an HNC and HND.

In addition to their formal education, Alexander obtained various certifications. In 2015, they obtained a Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma from 100% Effective Ltd. In 2014, they obtained a Prince2 foundation certification from APMG-International and completed the Data Protection Act (1998) Version 2 certification from the UK Government. Alexander also completed the Protecting Information certifications at Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 from the UK Government in 2014. Their last certification, MBCS Professional, was obtained in 2013 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
