Marcia Golmohamadi has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an Embedded System Engineer at Maharan Engineering Corp., where they designed electronics boards, verified schematics, and wrote firmware.
In 2013, Marcia worked as a Research Assistant at Missouri S&T, focusing on fault-diagnostics and prognostics. Marcia developed methods for leak detection and localization in oil pipelines.
In 2017 and 2018, they interned at Green Mountain Semiconductor, Inc., where they studied the design of DRAM-based Content Addressable Memory and designed test procedures for sense amplifier circuits.
From 2015 to 2019, Marcia worked at the University of Vermont as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. Marcia'sresearch focused on sensor networks and wireless technology, specifically depolarization in three dimensions.
In 2019, they joined Green Mountain Semiconductor, Inc. as an R&D Engineer, conducting research on artificial intelligence accelerators, memory-centric computing, and hardware implementation of neural networks.
In 2020, Marcia transitioned to academia and became an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at California State University, Bakersfield. Marcia held this position until 2022.
In 2022, they joined IIoT-Oxys as a Machine Learning Engineer, and in 2023, they will be working for Zignal Labs as a Data Scientist.
Marcia Golmohamadi earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Vermont, which they attended from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Marcia also holds another Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they received from Sahand University of Technology from 2008 to 2010. Marcia'seducational journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Marcia Golmohamadi recently completed a Fellowship at Pragmatic Institute in September 2021.
