Waqas Iqbal

Waqas Iqbal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Waqas started their career at eConceptions in 2012 as a Software Engineer, where they developed PHP, Java, and Android-based applications. Waqas then moved on to become a Lead IVR Engineer and IVR Software Architect, where they worked with technologies such as Java, Grails, and Hibernate to develop various applications including SMS servers and SOAP-based integration gateways.

In 2017, Waqas joined Digital Media Distribution Max as a Senior Developer/Assistant Manager. Here, they focused on microservices architecture and utilized technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, Cassandra, MongoDB, Elastic search, and Docker. Waqas also worked on telecom billing and SMSC integration with multinational telecom operators using Groovy Grails, Java, Kannel, and Jasmin.

Most recently, Waqas worked at Zigron Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Cloud Engineer. Waqas'sresponsibilities included designing and implementing IoT-based systems, utilizing cloud services like AWS, and implementing serverless architectures with auto-scalability.

From 2006 to 2008, Waqas Iqbal attended Askaria College, where they obtained their Fsc degree in Pre-Engineering. Following this, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued their BsCs degree in Computer Science at Arid Agriculture University.
