Shafiullah Khan began their professional career in 2016 as a Network Engineering Technician at the University at Buffalo (UB). In this role, they were responsible for programming and installing Aruba wireless access points (APs), configuring Cisco-3850 switches using Cisco IOS, and administering pre-installation surveys of telecom rooms. In 2018, they joined HealthFleet as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they served as a Cloud Developer Advocate, architected cloud-native solutions, and managed infrastructure using industry best practices.
Shafiullah Khan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Deogiri Institute of Engineering and Management Studies, Aurangabad between 2011 and 2015. Shafiullah then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University at Buffalo from 2015 to 2017. Khan has also obtained a number of certifications, including Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google in 2022, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in 2021, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020, AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017, CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer from The Linux Foundation in 2020, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2019, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017, and CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco in 2017.
