Eric Penner

Eric Penner, PhD, is an applied scientist specializing in multimodal vision and language AI, generative AI, and computer vision. They currently work at Zillow, where they leverage advanced models and techniques to create immersive experiences for users. Eric previously served as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and has held positions as a senior data scientist at Pearson and a consultant at RBN Energy, LLC. Their academic credentials include a PhD and an MA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, along with a BSME from the University of Wyoming. Additionally, they had a formative experience as a sergeant and reconnaissance specialist in the US Army.
