Rian Furey

Rian leads Zillow Group’s Mortgage business including Zillow Home Loans, Zillow’s affiliated lender that provides an easy way to receive mortgage pre-approvals and financing. In this role he oversees the Zillow Home Loans business strategy, operations, risk management, and technology platform integration and development.

Prior to joining Zillow Group in 2019, Rian held executive operations positions at consumer-direct lending companies, including Impac Mortgage, loanDepot, and Greenlight Loans, a division of Nationstar Mortgage. In these roles, he developed robust operations functions, established risk management strategies, integrated new businesses, and led the scaling of complex online platforms specific to the direct lending industry.

In 2005, Rian earned the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation, the highest professional designation for the real estate finance industry. Rian holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Portland.
