Carolina Santos

Carolina Santos is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at Zilor since May 2023. Previously, Carolina held the position of Specialist II, Head of Contracts and Corporate at Construtora Camargo Corrêa from March 2022 to October 2022, following a lengthy tenure at the same company from May 2010 to November 2021 as Specialist II in Corporate Law and Corporate Governance, as well as Specialist I, Coordinator of Corporate Law. Carolina’s responsibilities encompassed overseeing corporate governance for Brazilian companies and their subsidiaries in Latin America and Africa, managing legal corporate matters for approximately 30 companies, and providing legal assistance on national and international construction projects. Prior to this, Carolina held roles as a Pleno Lawyer and Junior Lawyer at Campedelli, Marques e Zarif Advogados Associados and gained experience as a law intern at Caixa Econômica Federal. Carolina holds a Master of Laws in Financial and Capital Markets Law from Insper, an LL.B. from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and an MBA in Corporate Law from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
