Trey Rodgers is a highly experienced research principal engineer with a robust background in additive manufacturing technologies and biomaterials within the orthopedic industry. Currently at Zimmer Biomet since June 2015, Trey has served in multiple roles, including research principal engineer II, where expertise in material science and manufacturing processes is applied to support regulatory, marketing, and quality system improvements. Previous experience includes positions at Biomet, where Trey developed new polymer materials for joint arthroplasties, and significant academic contributions as a graduate research assistant at Colorado State University, culminating in a PhD in bioengineering. Trey also has extensive experience in materials analysis, process validation, and technical support, reinforced by foundational work in orthopedic device fabrication.
