Tawona Chindara

Tawona Chindara is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting and financial management roles. Currently serving as the Financial Controller at ZINARA since April 2023, Tawona previously held the position of Tolling Supervisor at the same organization, focusing on toll revenue collection and financial reporting. Previous roles include Senior Accountant at Leonard Holdings and Trading Pvt Ltd, where Tawona was involved in complex expense reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, and an Accountant at Analytics Fiscal & Financial Services, responsible for budgeting and cost analysis. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority and positions as Audit Assistant and Assistant Accountant at Peksave Private Limited. Tawona holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Johannesburg, alongside a Master of Commerce in Professional Accounting and Corporate Governance from Great Zimbabwe University, and a Graduate degree from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
