Sarah Barr Frsa

Sarah Barr FRSA is currently the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning at Zinc Network, a role commenced in February 2024. Previously, Sarah served as Associate Director of Impact, Measurement, and Learning at Purpose from September 2021 to February 2024, and as a Learning and Research Advisor at Start Network from April 2017 to September 2021, where responsibilities included leading monitoring and evaluation efforts across multiple countries and promoting learning within the humanitarian sector. Earlier experience includes positions at the British Red Cross where Sarah focused on enhancing international effectiveness and managing grant compliance, as well as roles in organizational development and humanitarian support at Saferworld and CARE International UK. Sarah holds a degree in Violence, Conflict, and Development from SOAS and an Honours degree in Social Anthropology and Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
