Carolyn Polzel

Carolyn Polzel has a long history of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. Carolyn began their career in 2000 as a Senior Technical Recruiter at Management Alliance Group, a direct hire engineering recruiting firm specializing in hardware electrical circuit design engineers for the semiconductor industry. In 2004, they moved to Employment Trends, a professional staffing agency with a focus in Executive, Engineering, IT, Accounting/Finance, and Sales/Marketing. There they served as a Senior Technical Recruiter, a lead and member of the Engineering and Technology Professional Placement Group. In 2008, they became the Director of Business Development-HR & Talent Acquisition Services at OutSrc, Inc., a startup HR Solutions Consulting firm offering human resources and recruiting services. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Director of Talent Acquisition at APCON, a private company that develops innovative, scalable technology solutions to enhance network monitoring, support IT traffic analysis, and streamlines IT network management and security. Carolyn currently serves as the Director of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition at ZincFive, Inc., a company that provides nickel-zinc batteries for safe, uninterruptible power. Additionally, they have been a Board of Directors member at Oregon Small Business Alliance (OSBA) since 2019.

Carolyn Polzel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard Payne University. Carolyn also has a Senior Professional Human Resources Certification, which they obtained in 2013.
