David Nix

David Nix has over 40 years of work experience. In 1981, they began their career in the US Navy as a Senior Chief Nuclear Electrician, serving on various submarines and as the Director of Electronics Division at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command. In 2001, they became the District Service Manager at Emerson Network Power. From 2004 to 2011, they were the Human Performance Program Manager and Lead Craft/Technical Trainer at Progress Energy. From 2011 to 2017, they were the Manager of Thermal Management Services at Vertiv Co. Most recently, they have been the Service and Support Manager at ZincFive, Inc. since 2023.

David Nix received a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Nuclear Engineering Technology/Technician from Thomas Edison State University in 2000. David also attended the University of South Carolina's Chief Information Officer Academy.
