John Nicosia

John Nicosia has worked as a Senior Back-end Engineer at ZineOne, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Renaissance Learning from March 2014 to October 2019. During their time at Renaissance Learning, they designed and developed MapReduce jobs, created pig scripts, and developed UDF functions in Java and Python. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at KANA Software from August 2008 to March 2014. At KANA Software, they worked in a scrum environment, collaborated with others in developing software, and designed and developed a multithreaded event recording framework.

John Nicosia pursued their education between 2004 and 2008 at San Jose State University. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
