Gary Laird

Gary Laird is an experienced DevOps Software Engineer currently working at Zinkworks since August 2021, specializing in Jenkins DevOps CI/CD build processes in collaboration with Ericsson. Previously, from June 2007 to October 2020, Gary served as a Software DevOps CI/CD Build Engineer at Cisco, focusing on Webex Teams for Windows and Mac desktop clients, and also held the role of Software Automation Engineer, primarily working on manual testing for Unified Communications projects. Gary's earlier experience includes a Software Developer position at Ericsson from June 2003 to June 2007 and a Software Test Engineer role at Microsoft from June 2002 to June 2003. Gary holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maynooth University and has pursued advanced studies at University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin, culminating in a Bachelor's of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Maynooth University.
