Jorge Barraza Cruzat

Jorge Barraza Cruzat is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Zinkworks since February 2022, Jorge has specialized in developing and maintaining processes for Citi Bank's risk department using Java, Python, and Perl, while also managing job scheduling with Autosys Workload. Prior to this role, Jorge was a Technical Lead at MundoCrédito, successfully leading a team in the design and implementation of a critical financial software application. Earlier in the career, Jorge functioned as a System Analyst at Novasis S. A., focusing on ETL processes and the migration of a Core Bank system, and as a System Developer Analyst at RyC Consultores Asociados, where responsibilities included website development and maintenance for an insurance entity. Jorge holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same institution.
