Robert Konrad

Founder & CTO at Zinn Labs

Robert Konrad is the Founder and CTO at Zinn Labs. Robert was previously a Research Scientist Intern at Oculus VR, Magic Leap, and Light. Robert has also been a PHD Candidate at Stanford University and a Summer Research Intern at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Konrad’s research has focused on developing a GPU-accelerated physical layer shared library that is used in wireless simulation and emulation. Robert has implemented both a CPU-only and GPU version of transmitter and receiver power, and interference calculations. Robert has also worked with Nvidia CUDA to develop a performance focused parallel algorithm run on the GPU.

Robert Konrad has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Robert also has a minor in Robotics and Mechatronics. Robert attended Saint John's High School and Stanford Ignite, a certificate program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
