Markus Kreuter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Markus is currently serving as the Managing Director at zinsbaustein.de, where they focus on the growth of the curated digital Real Estate investment platform. Prior to this, Markus worked as an Independent Director at Aroundtown S.A. and as the Head of Finance and Banking Relations and ESG at THE FLAG a different place to live, where they implemented digital workflows, established new reporting formats, and introduced liquidity and year-end forecasts. Markus also served as a Member of the Board at gif e.V. - German Society of Property Researchers. Markus has expertise in Real Estate Finance and Transactions as an Expert at FINANCE FOR REAL. Markus has held leadership positions at JLL as the Team Leader Debt Advisory, where they headed the Debt Advisory Team in Frankfurt, and at Deutsche Bank AG as the Commercial Real Estate - Origination Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and later as the Director - Senior Credit Officer Commercial Real Estate. Markus has also worked as the Head of Financing / Head of Accounting at Vivico Real Estate GmbH, handling loan negotiation, accounting integration, and team management. Markus has served as the Group Head of Debt Funding at CA Immobilien Anlagen AG and as the Deputy Head of Risk Real Estate and Project Finance at DekaBank Deutsche Girozentrale earlier in their career.

Markus Kreuter completed the EMPIRE - The Executive Management Program in International Real Estate - 1st edition from IREBS, BOCCONI, ESSEC in 2015. In 2000, they obtained an Immobilienökonom (ebs) - eq. MSc degree from ebs Immobilienakademie GmbH, specializing in Real Estate Economies. Prior to that, they completed their Abitur at Max von Laue Gymnasium from 1981 to 1990.
