Brooks Brady is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in credit risk management and analysis. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Director of Credit Risk Analytics at Zions Bancorporation since November 2007, Brooks leads a team focused on model development and credit loss estimation for both wholesale and retail portfolios. Previously, at American Express, Brooks held the position of Senior Manager in Commercial Credit Risk Analysis, where internal risk ratings were assigned for significant corporate counterparties. Additionally, Brooks has extensive experience from Standard & Poor's as Associate Director of Corporate Default Analytics, where corporate default and rating transition research was conducted. Early career roles included consulting for banks at KPMG, specializing in credit risk management, and contributing to the development of analytics systems. Brooks holds a Master’s degree in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, and German from the University of Utah.
