Jan Swander

Jan Swander is the current Food Service Director at Zionsville Community Schools. Prior to their current position, Jan worked as a Front Desk/Accounting Assistant at the Waterfront Plaza Hotel and as a Food & Nutrition Services Supervisor at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital. Jan has also worked as a Food Service Supervisor at Ball State University. Jan's customer service skills and experience in financial stability make their an asset to the Zionsville Community Schools.

Jan Swander holds a Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science from Ball State University in Food Service Management and Dietetic Technology respectively.

They work with Chad Smith - Director, School Safety & Energy Management, Kris Devereaux - Assistant Superintendent, Academics, and Matthew Doublestein - Principal, Zionsville West Middle School. Their manager is Scott Robison, Superintendent of Schools.
