Laure Salou

Laure Salou has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Laure is currently working as the Product Design Lead - Merchants at Zip Co, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, Laure founded their own company Craftd. in 2020, where they served as the Founder.

From 2015 to 2022, Laure worked at Switch Automation in different roles. Laure started as a Graphic Designer in 2011. At Switch Automation, Laure served as the User Experience Designer from July 2015 to April 2017. Laure then progressed to become the UX & Creative Lead from April 2017 to July 2020. Laure further advanced to the position of Product and Design Strategy Lead and held the role from June 2020 to July 2021. Their final role at Switch Automation was as the Director of Product Design and Experience, which they held from July 2021 to November 2022.

Before their time at Switch Automation, Laure worked as an Interior Designer at Maker Interior Design & Style from February 2015 to July 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Art Department Manager at Austleisure from May 2013 to July 2015. Laure's earliest role was as a Graphic Designer at Cobbstar Productions in 2011.

Laure Salou has a diverse education history in various fields of study. In 2007 to 2010, Laure attended École de Condé and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a focus on Design and Visual Communications. Continuing their education, in 2010 to 2011, Laure pursued a Diploma in Graphic Design at Martin College. In 2012 to 2014, they studied at the Karl Von Busse Institute and obtained a Diploma in Interior Design. Later, Laure attended the Cambridge International College Australia from 2015 to 2016, earning a Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In the same year, they also attended the Tractor Design School, participating in a User Experience Immersive program. Most recently, in 2020, Laure furthered their skills by completing a Design Leadership Coaching program at Andy Polaine.
