Michael Goldman

Michael Goldman has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles.

Michael started their career at St Barnabas Terraces as a Senior Resident from January 2012 to December 2013. Following that, they joined 180 Degrees Consulting where they served as a Team Leader from January 2012 to November 2012, then became the Consulting Branch Director from November 2012 to November 2013. Eventually, they took on the role of Head of the Asia Pacific Region from February 2013 to January 2014.

In 2014, Michael moved on to work as an Academic Tutor at St John's College within the University of Sydney from February 2014 to August 2014. Michael then transitioned to Monitor Deloitte, starting as an Intern to Senior Consultant in Strategy from January 2014 to February 2019. Michael continued to grow with the company, assuming the position of Senior Strategy Consultant from February 2019 to January 2020, and later became a Strategy Manager from January 2020 to August 2021, where they were seconded to the Office of the CSO in Deloitte's New York-based Global Headquarters.

Most recently, Michael joined Zip Co in August 2021 as a Senior Strategy Manager. In their role, they built and led the strategy, operations, and commercial partnerships team at Zip Co US. Michael developed the US strategy and built the execution/operations function to deliver the strategy, working closely with the US and global executives. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Strategy, Operations, and New Product at Zip Co, starting in July 2022.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their expertise in strategy development, corporate growth, market entry, and business turnaround. Michael has experience working in industries such as Financial Services and Institutions, Retail, and FMCG.

Michael Goldman attended the University of Sydney from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree. Their field of study encompassed History, English, Politics, and International Relations.
