Sean Zhang

Sean Zhang has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on risk management and fraud analytics. Sean is currently working at Zip Co as a Senior Manager in Risk Analytics. Prior to that, they worked at Latitude Financial Services as a Risk Manager in Fraud Analytics. Sean also has extensive experience at National Australia Bank, where they held multiple roles including Senior Analyst in Anti-Crime Analytics, Analyst in Anti-Crime Analytics, Fraud Prevention in Financial Crime, and Unsecured Debt Collection. In these roles, they have been involved in creating detection scenarios and models, testing and maintaining detection strategies, defining and implementing financial crime detection rules, and conducting investigations. Sean has also provided customer service, responded to law enforcement queries, and assisted with collection and fraud-related inquiries. Additionally, they have been responsible for collecting overdue accounts, negotiating repayment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Sean Zhang attended Mount Waverley Secondary College from 1998 to 2002. Later, they pursued a Diploma in Engineering from Monash College from 2006 to 2008.
