Suzanne Slonim, MD, FSIR has extensive work experience in interventional radiology. Suzanne is currently serving as the Medical Director and Interventional Radiologist at the Fibroid Institute Dallas since February 2016. Suzanne'srole focuses on the treatment of uterine fibroids through procedures such as uterine fibroid embolization and uterine artery embolization for adenomyosis.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Slonim founded and became a partner at ZipRad, LLC in 2015. This venture allowed their to contribute to the field of interventional radiology in a different capacity.

From 2000 to 2016, Dr. Slonim worked at the Radiological Consultants Association, where they served as an Interventional Radiologist. Suzanne also held the position of Director of Interventional Radiology and later became the President of the Medical Staff at Methodist Dallas Medical Center from 2000 to 2016.

Dr. Slonim started their academic career as an Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine from 1995 to 2000. Simultaneously, they served as the Director of Interventional Radiology at VA Palo Alto Health Care System during the same period.

Overall, Dr. Slonim has a diverse and extensive background in interventional radiology, with notable experience in uterine fibroid treatment and leadership roles in healthcare organizations.

Suzanne Slonim, MD, FSIR has an extensive education history. Suzanne began their educational journey at Duke University from 1981 to 1985, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology. Suzanne then attended The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from 1985 to 1989, receiving their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following this, they completed an internship at UCLA's San Fernando Valley Program from 1989 to 1990, specializing in Internal Medicine. Dr. Slonim then pursued a residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, where they completed the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program from 1990 to 1994. Finally, they obtained a fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1995, focused on the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Residency Program.
