Kevin Cheng

Kevin Cheng has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Kevin is currently working as a Software Validation Engineer at Zipline. Prior to this, they worked at Qualcomm as a Power Validation Engineer, where they developed automation infrastructure and led power and thermal debugging efforts. Kevin also worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at Qualcomm, where they resolved faults with IC Handler and implemented mechanical and software improvements. Kevin's earlier experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at UCSD Advanced Robotics and Controls Lab, where they designed and programmed an endoscopic robot. Kevin also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher with Dr. Michael Barley and worked as a Computer Engineering Intern at Ocean Lab Swarm Robotics. Additionally, they co-founded and served as a mentor at Camp 404 and held leadership positions in Vex Robotics and FIRST Robotics teams.

Kevin Cheng completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego. Kevin attended UC San Diego from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended El Camino Real Charter High School from 2009 to 2013, but there is no information available regarding their degree or field of study during their time there.
