Nina T.

Nina T. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Nina is currently working as a Software Engineer at Zipline since November 2021. Previously, they worked at Shift from February 2021 to October 2021, where they focused on maintaining and improving Shift's Pricing System, enhancing infrastructure for the Data Science team, and ensuring compliance with CCPA.

Before Shift, Nina worked at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in 2020. Nina served as a Teaching Assistant for the Introduction to Computational Robotics course from September 2020 to December 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer from June 2020 to August 2020, where they designed and implemented a real-time air quality data display system for East Boston residents on mobile and web apps.

In 2019, they interned at Shift Technologies, Inc. as a Full Stack Software Engineering Intern. During their internship, they redesigned and implemented a system within the financing operations team, utilizing TypeScript and React Redux on the frontend and Go on the backend.

Prior to that, they interned at Google in 2019 and 2018. As a Software Engineering Intern in 2019, they designed and implemented a project for updating app filtering and recommendations in the Google Play Store. In 2018, they worked on an engineering productivity team, developing a bot in Python to identify mis-assigned issues.

Nina also has experience as a Teacher's Assistant for Software Design at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering from January 2018 to May 2018. Additionally, they interned at Google as part of the Engineering Practicum program in 2017, where they developed experiments and documentation to prevent loss of latency logging data in Search.

Prior to their professional roles, Nina gained experience as a Teacher at College Gate Summer Camp in 2016 and as a Student in the Girls Who Code program in 2015, where they learned various programming languages and developed a data visualization website as a final project.

Nina T. attended Winchester High School from 2012 to 2016, where they received their High School diploma. After that, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering from 2016 to 2020.
