Luke Wallace is the current Chief Marketing Officer at GreenFig. Prior to this, they were the CEO of SpendSmart Networks from May 2016 to June 2018, where they were responsible for the company's P&L delivery. Luke successfully reduced monthly cash burn by $400K/month in their first three months as CEO and maintained top-line revenue run-rate while reducing monthly expenses by 40%.
Under Luke's leadership, SpendSmart Networks participated in multiple fundraising rounds, generating over $15MM in equity and debt financing. Luke also implemented goal-setting and measurement systems for the executive team, established KPIs and stretch goals for every department, and led a strategic planning session with the executive team to establish key priorities in turning the business around.
In addition, Luke negotiated with outside debt holders and AP vendors for favorable repayment terms, reducing outside debt repayment by 40%. As a result of their efforts, SpendSmart Networks was successfully acquired by another company.
Luke Wallace has a degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and is certified in management from Section4, LEANSTACK, and Manager Tools. Luke is currently a certified strategist and continuous innovation mentor with Manager Tools.
