Ulas Bardak

Ulas Bardak is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and data science. As the current Vice President of Engineering at ZipRecruiter, Ulas Bardak oversees the Job Seeker engineering team, focusing on job recommendation systems and user-facing applications. Previously, Ulas served as Director of Software Engineering and General Manager at Google, leading a large team in the Ads Understanding organization. Ulas has held leadership positions at Foursquare and Factual, where responsibilities included managing data science and engineering teams. At Clarifai, Ulas improved engineering practices across multiple offices, and earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer at Whisper App, focusing on engineering stability and data-centric projects. Ulas Bardak earned a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University.
