Andrew Lecain

Andrew Lecain is a software engineer who currently works at Zitara. Andrew has previous experience working at Nest Labs, Lab126, and RE2. Andrew started their career as an intern at Railcomm Inc and Rochester Institute of Technology.

At Nest Labs, Andrew worked on driver and kernel development for the Nest Protect, 2nd Generation Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Generation Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Heat Link, Nest Thermostat E, and Nest Remote Temperature Sensor.

At Lab126, Andrew was a software development engineer on the platform power team.

At RE2, Andrew was an EE intern where they took over all software development responsibilities of a sensored BLDC controller based on a TI DSP. Andrew also completed the product life cycle from schematic capture, board bring-up and user code of an embedded WiFi to CAN adapter module. In addition, they developed a handheld operating system for remote control of low DOF robotic arms based on an Atmel XMega.

Andrew Lecain received a BS in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
