Ulrik Jessen

Ulrik Jessen is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various operational and leadership roles within the industry. Currently serving as Master Mariner and Head of Maritime HR at ZITON A/S since March 2015, Ulrik is responsible for the recruitment and education of personnel, vessel manning, and HR management for maritime employees, while also liaising with unions and maritime authorities. Prior roles include Head of Operations at DBB Jack-Up Services A/S and Senior Captain/Captain & Crew Coordinator at Færgen A/S, among others. Ulrik holds a Master Mariner degree from Svendborg Navigationsskole and has a Business Economy degree from Erhvervsakademi Aarhus, complemented by additional qualifications from the Royal Danish Navy.
