Chase Thiebaut has held various roles in the UX/UI field since 2015. From 2015-2016, they were a User Experience Designer for Electronic Field Trips, where they collaborated with a small team of students and faculty to deliver a multi-format educational electronic field trip experience to 7500 Indiana 4th graders and 230 teachers at over 150 Indiana schools. Chase also conducted usability testing and assisted in design of web based educational activities and iPad/web application. In 2016, they were a User Experience Designer for Digital Corps, where they provided wireframes and conducted user interviews and surveys for the my.bsu.edu redesign. From 2017-2018, they were an Associate Instructor and SICE Career Services at Indiana University Bloomington, where they updated the website for the annual HCI/d Connect career fair event and created and designed print and web materials with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. In 2018, they were a UX Consultant for Shoemaker Innovation Center, where they introduced User Experience process and principles to budding startups, designed dashboard interface for business management software, and created a variety of visual print and web materials for internal design use and external marketing purposes. Currently, they are a Product Manager and User Experience Designer for Zivix (Jamstik).
Chase Thiebaut earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ball State University in 2017. From 2015-2015, they attended Keele University for an International Study Semester in Computer Science. Chase then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI/d) from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 2019.
