Jesper Ekberg is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Zmarta Group since January 2019, leading a tech department of approximately 70 personnel, including developers and architectural teams. Previous roles at Zmarta Group include serving as Interim CTO and Engineering Manager, where Jesper oversaw agile teams and recruitment efforts. Prior to Zmarta, Jesper held various influential positions at Smart Refill AB from 2007 to December 2018, including Interim CTO, Interim Chief Security Officer, and Chief Information Officer, with a strong focus on strategy, security, and software development. Jesper's early career also includes critical roles at S Reg AB, spanning from Tech Lead to Software Developer, marked by responsibilities in system architecture and the development of essential systems.
