Leah McDougald

Leah McDougald currently serves as the Managing Director at ZoCo Design, where responsibilities include driving growth and enhancing presence in the healthcare, UX Design, and UX Research sectors. Leah is also a board member of The Women's Fund of Central Ohio, focusing on advocacy and grantmaking for social change. Prior to these roles, Leah owned McDougald Research, serving as a Design Research Strategist from 2014 to 2025, and held the position of Director of Design Research at Design Central from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, Leah contributed as a guest lecturer at the Austin Center for Design, sharing expertise on participatory design research methods and qualitative research analysis. Educational credentials include a BA in Sociology from The Ohio State University and a prior study in Sociology at the University of Kentucky.
