Margaret Harwood-Jones

Margaret Harwood-Jones serves as the Global Head of Securities Services at Standard Chartered Bank since January 2013, overseeing the bank's securities services business across more than 40 direct markets in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, with a focus on business development and revenue performance. In addition to this role, Margaret also holds several significant positions, including Managing Director of Transaction Banking at Standard Chartered, and membership on the Supervisory Board of Standard Chartered Bank AG, the Board of Directors at Libeara, and Chairperson of Standard Chartered Luxembourg. Margaret's previous experience includes leadership roles at BNP Paribas Securities Services, Cogent, and HSBC Bank UK. Educational qualifications include a CEDEP programme in Business Administration and Management from INSEAD and a Trustee diploma from the Chartered Institute of Bankers UK.
