James Gillies

James Gillies is a Senior Scientist in the Diagnostics department of Zoetis' Veterinary Medicine Research and Development group, with a professional background that includes roles as both Scientist and Senior Associate Scientist (Contract) at the same company. Prior to joining Zoetis in February 2016, James worked at Neogen Corporation from May 2012 to January 2016, where responsibilities included Research Technician and Lateral Flow Chemist, focusing on product development and reagent production for food safety applications. Earlier experience includes a contract position as a Lab Technician at MacDermid Industrial Solutions North America and various roles in customer service and food production. James holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Ferris State University and completed the International Baccalaureate program before that.
