Willem Rijksen

Willem Rijksen is a seasoned public affairs executive with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical and insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Global Public Affairs at Zoetis, Willem previously held the position of Senior Director of Public Affairs at Pfizer, leading North America public affairs for a substantial portfolio. Additional roles include Director of Communications at the NJ Department of the Treasury and Vice President of Media Relations at SevenTwenty Strategies. Willem has also served as Vice President of Public Affairs at the American Insurance Association, Director of Public Affairs at The Hartford, and Public Affairs Director at Aetna, among other positions. Willem holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rider University.
