Teri Walker has extensive experience in the field of institutional effectiveness, research, and planning. Teresa "Teri" started their career at Brookhaven College, where they served as the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness, Planning & Research for ten years. In this role, Teri collaborated with cross-functional teams, provided training, and evaluated learning objectives to support institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement.

After their tenure at Brookhaven College, Teri worked as a Consultant and Data Coach for Achieving the Dream, Inc. and as a Consultant-Service Provider for Student Success by the Numbers. These roles allowed their to further develop their expertise in data analysis and coaching.

Teri's next position was as the District Director of Institutional Research at the Dallas County Community College District. In this role, they provided district-wide leadership, supervised research studies, and disseminated reports on district-wide research and evaluation projects.

Teri then transitioned to Hill College as the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness. During their time there, they provided leadership and training for planning, research, and assessment activities. Teresa "Teri" also worked with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program outcomes and assessments.

Most recently, Teri has been working at the College of the Mainland as the Associate Vice President. In this role, they coordinated the planning, research, implementation, administration, and evaluation of college-wide institutional effectiveness, assessment, and planning for programs. Teresa "Teri" also provided leadership for the continuous improvement of college programs and services, as well as coaching and training related to data analysis and decision-making.

Currently, Teri is employed at ZogoTech as a Student Engagement & College Success Coach, where they assist students in achieving their goals and succeeding in college.

Teresa "Teri" Walker holds an impressive educational background. Teresa "Teri" obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Capella University between 2004 and 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Our Lady of the Lake University from 1999 to 2002. In 1996, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Before that, they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in General Studies from Brookhaven Community College between 1990 and 1995.

Additionally, Teri Walker has acquired several certifications throughout their career. Teresa "Teri" completed "Creating Your Personal Brand" and "The New Rules of Work" certifications from LinkedIn in March 2020. In June 2015, they obtained certifications in "Project Management" and "Project Management: The Basics for Success" from Coursera Verified Certificates. Earlier in January 2015, they also completed "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" certification from Coursera Verified Certificates.
