Biswas Babu

Biswas Babu is a skilled Backend Engineer at Zoko (YC W21) since June 2021, where significant achievements include automating 60% of incoming e-commerce queries and developing a robust in-house framework in Golang. As the Founder and Lead Developer of the open-source project keralarescue.in, Biswas led over 200 developers and 1000 volunteers in creating critical software for rescue and management during the Kerala floods in 2018 and 2019, eventually contributing to the official website of the Kerala government. Prior experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Compile Inc. involved the development of a custom columnar datastore to enhance data processing in the US healthcare sector, along with previous roles in API development and coordination at various technology projects. Biswas holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Government Engineering College, Sreekrishnapuram, completed in 2019.
