Nick Paiva

Nick Paiva is a seasoned engineer specializing in product development within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Engineer at ZOLL Medical Corporation since November 2023, Nick previously contributed to Paragon Medical as an Engineer from July 2019 to November 2023, focusing on surgical tools and diagnostic devices under an ISO 13485 quality system. Earlier experiences include roles as an R&D Engineer at Eclipse Product Development, a Systems Engineer at Pneuma Systems Corporation, and a Systems Engineer at Leveraged Developments, where Nick designed software tools for tracking design controls. Additional experience encompasses project management in marine construction with Truston Technologies and academic mentoring at the University of Rhode Island. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
