Ruth Shady

Ruth Shady has a vast work experience in the field of archaeology and academia. RUTH held the role of Jefa at Zona Arqueologica Caral since 1994. At Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, they worked as a Docente and held various leadership positions within the School of Archaeology and Faculty of Social Sciences. Additionally, they served as Jefa de Investigaciones at the Museo Nacional de Antropología y Arqueología, where they conducted archaeological research in various regions and edited the "Revista Arqueológicas" until 1986.

Ruth Shady completed their Bachelor's degree in Education at Facultad de Educación - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos from 1965 to 1968. RUTH also earned a Ph.D. in Anthropology and Archaeology from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos from 1963 to 1968.
