José Manuel Velazco

José Manuel Velazco is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as Director of Operations at Las Américas Industrial Free Zone since September 2017, José Manuel previously held the position of Country Manager for the Dominican Republic and Caribbean at ECG Engineering Consulting Group from January 2011 to August 2017, overseeing business development and multidisciplinary team coordination. Prior roles include Design Engineer at Euroconsult Group from 2007 to 2010 and QC/QA Manager at Epsa-Labco Ingenieros Consultores from 2003 to 2006, where responsibilities included ensuring quality control procedures and effectiveness of corrective actions. José Manuel holds a Master's Degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Bachelor of Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo.
