Joshua Hutchens

Joshua Hutchens, Ph.D. is currently serving as the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Missions at Overland Church since June 2024 and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Cumberlands since August 2023, where Joshua teaches online courses on the Old and New Testaments and Understanding Cultures. Additionally, Joshua has been a Theological Review Editor at Zondervan Publishers since March 2018, working on various Bible projects. Previously, Joshua was the President of Gospel Life Global Missions in Malawi from May 2017 to April 2024 and served as a lead pastor at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and Elk Lick Baptist Church before that. Joshua's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology, a Master of Theology, and a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Boyce College.
