Rachel Bakker

Rachel Bakker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and program management. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager and Team Leader of DoelmatigheidsOnderzoek at ZonMw since July 2021, Rachel has held significant roles including Program Manager at Het Oogziekenhuis Rotterdam and Senior Research Consultant at Pharmerit International. Previous positions at Erasmus MC encompassed roles as Research Policy Advisor, Senior Researcher and Project Leader for 'Healthy Pregnancy 4 All', and Study Coordinator for the Generation R Study. Rachel's educational background includes a PhD in Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MSc in Epidemiology from the Netherlands Institute of Health Sciences, along with an MSc in Human Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
