Katra Laidlaw is an experienced environmental educator with a background in wildlife conservation and ecological data collection. Currently serving as an Educator at Zoo New England since November 2022, Katra fosters connections between people and wildlife through teaching, facilitating animal encounters, and developing educational programs. Previous roles include Temporary Field Technician at Battelle, where Katra contributed to climate change research, and Sloth Crossings Manager at The Sloth Conservation Foundation, focusing on habitat safety for sloths.
