Felix Brandon Lloyd has extensive experience in education and business. Felix Brandon began their career in 1998 as a Teacher and Dean of Students at the SEED Public Charter School, where they were one of the school's first four teachers and was named Washington, D.C.'s Teacher of the Year. In 2002, they became an Education Consultant for FB Lloyd & Associates, LLC. In 2003, they were a Writer in Residence at the Mary Anderson Center for the Arts, where they taught screenwriting to adults and high school students in Louisville, Kentucky and wrote stories published in literacy journals. In 2006, they founded Skill-Life, Inc., a company focused on teaching financial education and life skills through online games, and gained investment from Echoing Green, Innovation Works Alpha Lab, Idea Foundry, and several angel investors. Felix Brandon designed, launched, and sold the prototype of the company's flagship product in October 2008. In 2009, they joined BancVue as the Chief Professor & General Manager of MoneyIsland and led the product from prototype to market to profitability. In 2010, they became the MoneyIsland Founder & Ambassador for BancVue. Also in 2010, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for Propel Schools. In 2013, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for Reach Incorporated and Co-Founder & Executive Officer for Zoobean, where they helped groups of people read more and read together by participating in reading challenges and reading fundraisers. Felix Brandon also became a Partner at UpRising Films, LLC in 2013.

Felix Brandon Lloyd received their Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in Television/Radio/Film and their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Washington University in St. Louis in Fiction Writing.
