Zooinform was founded on the 1st of December, 1997. Tatiana Katasonova, who still runs the company, started to publish the guide-book for cat and dog owners. The “Google” of those days so to speak – the book contained addresses and contact data of pet stores, vet clinic, pharmacies in Moscow, guidelines on feeding and caring of pets.
She organized a small team, established a company and called it Zooinform. Shortly the team faced the lack of relevant information about and for the pet industry in Russia, which had started to develop a couple of years prior.
